Category Memo: Notes & Folders - Google Play

Category Memo brings your notes together in categories and folders. Keep work notes, shopping reminders, study summaries, ideas and writing drafts organized, then find and use the text again when you need it.

ORGANIZE BY CATEGORY
Create categories for different purposes and save notes in the appropriate place. Swipe to switch categories. Give a note a title and use search to find saved content. Start with a few useful categories and choose names that are easy for you to recognize later.

COUNT CHARACTERS AS YOU WRITE
Check the character count while entering text. Set a maximum character count for a category and see the difference from that limit as you write. You can also view the total character count for a category. Use these tools for drafts with a length target, study summaries or short introductions.

LISTEN TO YOUR NOTES
Long-press a note in the list to hear its text read aloud. Adjust speech speed and repeat settings. Listening offers another way to review something you have written or revisit saved content. Choose the note you need and set a suitable device volume.

SEARCH, EDIT AND SHARE
Search saved notes, open the content and make changes. Share text through the device's sharing options. You can also open a browser search while entering a note to look up a word or topic. Capture an idea quickly, then return later to expand the draft, review it aloud or share the text.

MAKE WRITING COMFORTABLE
Choose background and text colors and configure fonts for the entry screen. Landscape display is supported. Input settings include whether the keyboard appears when editing and where the editing view starts. Choose creation and update date displays, update-date ordering and character counts in the list according to your needs.

Writing symbols can be displayed for fiction input. Symbol editing and lifting font restrictions are Premium features. Check the settings and purchase screen for the available options.

MANAGE SAVED CONTENT
Move notes between categories or select notes for deletion. Deleted history lets you restore a note or remove history you no longer need. Confirm the selected content before completing these operations. Passcode lock helps control access to the app. Backup and restore are available through settings. Google account sign-in is required for backup; follow the restore instructions shown in the app.

FREE FEATURES AND PREMIUM
Use the basic note entry and organization functions for free. Ads are displayed in the app. Premium includes ad removal, editing writing symbols, lifting font restrictions and category navigation through a list. Try organizing your notes and reviewing character counts and read-aloud features first, then check Premium if you need the extra options.

Prices, billing periods, available plans and any trial conditions are shown in the app and on the Google Play purchase confirmation screen. Availability and eligibility can vary by account and region. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under the applicable terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
